Join IGH as Group Leader

The Institute of Human Genetics (IGH, CNRS and University of Montpellier, France) invites applications for a Principal Investigator position in its main research areas. The IGH welcomes outstanding candidates at all career stages, from junior group leaders to established senior investigators.

Cha-cha: a co-translational chaperone channeling mechanism

Philippe et al. reveal that HSP90 and R2TP chaperones induce the formation of polysome condensates accumulating specific mRNAs and favoring co-translational interactions between them.

3D chromosome structures remember a cell’s past and transmit it to the progeny

Paldi et al. show that acute perturbation of the epigenome induces cellular memory of gene expression in mouse ESCs.

Sora started her new team last month, February 2026 at IGH, with fundings from ANR and University of Montpellier.

Congrats to Vincent Loubière who was awarded the Prize Jacqueline Godet 2025 from CNRS Biology and CNRS Foundation

This prize rewards young scientists newly recruited as CRCN in CNRS Biology laboratories and dedicated to the study of cancer biology.

A promising target for anticancer therapy

Impheng et al. present the development of a novel highly specific inhibitor of tubulin detyrosination that can reverse the epithelial to mesenchymal transition in lung cancer cells.
