Training

At the Institute of Human Genetics, we place great importance on career development and continuous training for all members of our community.
Each year, a wide range of workshops and scientific events are organized, offering young researchers valuable opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills. Notable examples include the IGH, Japan Summer Schools, the Epigenetics Workshops, and various thematic courses that promote both scientific excellence and international collaboration.
Our dynamic seminar program frequently welcomes distinguished external speakers, and students are strongly encouraged to attend and engage with leading scientists from around the world.
Beyond formal training, IGH fosters a supportive environment through a mentorship system (“parrainage”), where experienced members guide and accompany newer colleagues, helping them navigate both scientific and institutional life.
We remain committed to nurturing talent, encouraging curiosity, and building a dynamic, collaborative research community where every scientist can grow and thrive.
Throughout the year, the IGH offers internships and recruits candidates with qualifications ranging from master’s to PhD level, as well as those with other academic backgrounds.
