Organoid platform

The IGH Brain and Intestinal Organoids facility, is part of the Montpellier Organoids Platform (POM). This facility offers the development of normal cerebral organoids (minibrains) as well as brain cancer (glioblastoma) organoids. Development of intestinal organoids is under way.

The service is run by Isabelle Peiffer and Nathalie Malirat, it is open to internal and external academics, clinical users, as well to private companies. Isabelle Peiffer also provides comprehensive training in embryonic stem cell (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSCs) culture for IGH personnel. The facility is equipped with a CellenONE cell sorter, enabling precise single-cell isolation of delicate cells and tissues.
